Why Satellite Journals?

Why the Satellite Journals?

I have studied enough Physics and Astromony to know a lot of what I write below, about satellites is not scientifically accurate, 100%...but bear with me, as I get a bit poetic and lyrical here, dear Reader.

There is something serene, non-threatening in the way satellites go about their business, day after cosmic day. An unintrusive omnipresence as they quietly observe what goes on in the great worlds below them...

They evince some interest now and then, but derive any importance only with reference to the larger systems they are a part of. I guess the urdu word for what I mean here is "wajood"...a persona, significance...maybe.

I kind of identify with that...life should be a spectator sport for some. Not everyone needs to be a hero. Someone has to sit on the sidewalk and clap as the heroes go by.

Hence the blog title.

Oh...that and because its late and about the only source of inspiration I have right now is my spanking new Toshiba 'Satellite' notebook. Damn...it is a good looking machine.
